Ruslan Ponomariov of Ukraine is within sight of winning the elite Sparkassen Chess-meeting tournament. Friday he beat Arkidij Naiditsch of Germany, and he made it seem easy. He achieved a comfortable positional edge out of the opening, and then, inexplicably, Naiditsch gave away a pawn. more...
